Nnaemeka Ewelukwa is the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc (NBET), an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria established to undertake bulk electricity trading in the electricity market and incentivize generation investments in the electricity value chain. A lawyer by training, Nnaemeka earlier served as NBET’s General Counsel & Company Secretary from 2012 until his appointment as MD/CEO in July 2020. Prior to that, he was a Technical Adviser on regulatory and transaction issues with the Presidential Task Force on Power that spearheaded the implementation of the reform roadmap for the Nigerian power sector.
